After school we run a variety of clubs from 3.15pm to 4pm.
We believe that extra-curricular activities play a vital part in the all-round education of our children. We offer a variety of activities throughout the year, some lasting all year, others for shorter sessions of a term or half a term. We offer sports clubs after school, and the children enjoy taking part in matches and tournaments with neighbouring schools.
We endeavour to provide these clubs free of charge, however, some activities inevitably incur a charge which we keep to a minimum.
The school continues to maintain strong links with the local community and the school is also available for lettings to groups within the community.
The children are actively involved in fund-raising for the wider community; examples of charities supported are Macmillan Cancer Care, Poppy Appeal, Christian Aid, Children in Need, Red Nose Day and Haven Breast Cancer.
WEOBLEY SCHOOLS CLUSTER
We belong to the Weobley Extended Schools Partnership, which provides opportunities for the children to participate in activities which use the High School’s facilities and expertise. There are many opportunities for children to meet others from different schools joining together to work collaboratively on projects, and enjoy making new friends at the same time. Workshops are arranged during the holidays on music, dance and sports, which take place in different schools throughout the cluster.
