Pippins Pre-school is open Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 3pm during term time with the flexibility of wrap- around before/after school care starting at 8am in our breakfast club until 5.45pm at our After School club.
We are a small, friendly pre-school offering a fun learning environment for children aged 2 to rising 5’s. Our fully qualified staff play alongside the children and encourage them to make choices and extend their learning through child-led play
Children do not need to be toilet trained to attend Pippins as we have nappy changing facilities available.
We offer a variety of sessions each day and accept government funded children from 2-5 years.
For non-funded places our current charge is £3.50 per hour.
Stay & Play – Every Wednesday 1.15pm-2.45pm £1 per family ALL WELCOME!
Pippins pre-school holds a parents and tots session every Wednesday afternoon (term-time only). It is a free-flow explore and play session which includes a small snack and drink for the children and coffee and biscuits for the adults! It is a lovely opportunity for us to meet new faces and for children who may be starting with us in the near future it offers an ideal opportunity for them to become familiar with their surroundings leading to smoother transition into pre-school.
Breakfast club operates daily from 8am until 8.45am.
We have great fun in our club offering arts and crafts, fun and games and a healthy breakfast to start the day. Parents do not need to pre-register for our breakfast club. Children are welcome to just come along on the morning. The charge for this is £1.50 per session.
After school club operates daily from 3.15-5.45pm offering a warm and welcome, home from home feel after a busy day at Pre-school/school.
After school club offers a great learning opportunity in many ways. The children learn to mix with all ages, play in groups and take turns and share. The children are able to play both indoors and outdoors with a wide range of toys and games each day.
Children are provided with a healthy snack at around 4pm. Parents are welcome to pack a small picnic style ‘tea’ should they wish to do so.
We do recommend that places for after school club are pre-booked as spaces are limited.
